Get personalized feedback on your technique 3x per week from professional tattoo artists and go from where you are now to tattooing real clients in 24 weeks
We’ll also give you two FREE resources to get you going (whether you join the private coaching program or not)
On the call, we’ll give you access to our “How to Draw Tattoos” Course, Artist Hour – for FREE.
Artist Hour is our easy-to-follow portfolio-builder created for busy beginners who want to go pro. Each day, we’ll send you a short lesson and drawing task so you can learn to draw the most popular tattoo designs clients ask for every day and discover your own style to create unique pieces for your portfolio. No time wasted scrolling online. No decision fatigue.
Just straightforward tasks that build your skills fast.
At the end of 90 days, you’ll have a portfolio of ready-to-tattoo designs to present to clients and studio owners.
On the call, you’ll also get a sneak peek into private coaching with a complete tattoo walkthrough.
This FREE value-packed recording is from a recent live call session with students already inside the program, where we talk through tattooing techniques, challenges they are working through in their own art, and more.
We cover how to:
You’ll also receive the stencil shown during the walkthrough so you can follow along with the tattoo at home.
The Artist Accelerator Program has everything you need for a primarily self-guided journey into the tattoo industry.
You receive all the information you’d get in a traditional apprenticeship and it’s up to you to work through the course at your own pace.
The Facebook group functions as a community that provides support and access to professional tattoo artists when you need assistance.
We’ve had thousands of students find success this way.
Private Coaching offers a more personalized experience and additional accountability.
Because you will be in closer communication with us and you’ll be following a schedule, our coaching program is considered to be our “mentor-led” path.
Instead of being prepared to enter the tattoo industry at the end of the program (like you are with the Artist Accelerator), after private coaching you will already be tattooing clients and making money as a professional tattoo artist.
In short, many of our private coaching students are in the process of transitioning to tattooing full-time by the end of their 24 weeks, whereas Artist Accelerator graduates are prepared to take their first steps into the professional sphere.
Ideally, coaching students have already spent time in the Artist Accelerator Program to build a base knowledge and begin developing their skills, and they are 100% certain that they want tattooing to become their fulltime career.
Our private coaching program is meant to be intensive so that it gets you to your goals extremely quickly.
That being said, you will have 2-3 tattooing assignments per day.
We recommend setting aside three hours a day for the duration of the program.
All Tattooing 101 programs are meant to be flexible to allow students to maintain their income while learning to tattoo, and this includes private coaching.
All the assignments can be done on your own time and you will receive live call recordings if you are unable to attend.
Many of our students with full-time responsibilities have found that getting up and tattooing before work, as well as in the evenings for those 24 weeks allows them to get through their assignments without too much change to their normal schedule.
Yes! While the Artist Accelerator Program is comprehensive, inside private coaching we’ll push you creatively and technically so you can continue to develop your skills and tattoo confidently and efficiently.
Life happens, and there are times when students know they have to wait for private coaching (new baby, a cross-country move, etc.), and we want to make sure that you have the time you need available to get a return on your investment into coaching.
However, because we want to make sure our coaching students get the attention they need, there is a limited number of spots, which are expected to fill up quickly (which will lead to a waiting list).
This is why we recommend students join private coaching when they know that tattooing is what they want to do for a living so they can get in before those spots fill up.
As a side note: it’s never a “good” time to start tattooing.
That’s why so many tattoo artists never reach their full earning potential, start their dream studio, or get booked out months in advance.
This depends on what tattooing equipment you already have.
We will send you a list of recommended equipment to have on hand when you begin coaching. If you’ve already have everything you need to tattoo safely, you don’t need to purchase additional materials outside of fake skins.
If you are new to tattooing, you will need to at least have a tattoo machine, needles, black ink, fake skins, and staple tattoo station disposables (paper towels, ink caps, etc.) to begin the program.
Most of our students make the money they invest into equipment back shortly after they start tattooing clients in the program.
The investment for private coaching is broken down into six monthly payments, or one up-front payment at a slightly lower price.
However, no matter which way you slice it, most of our students make their entire investment back within the first few weeks after they finish the coaching program.
Before you are onboarded as a new artist, we’ll ask you to fill out an application (click any of the buttons on this page).
If it seems like it might be a good fit, you’ll meet with our community manager to have a preliminary call to make sure private coaching will work for you.
This is a 100% free call simply to make sure it’s a good fit for your journey.
