During the 12-week private coaching system, we’ll work directly with you to implement a roadmap that gets you where you want to be by builds your tattooing career in 3 phases: drawing, tattooing, and marketing. This way, at the end of your 12 weeks, you’re making a sustainable income from tattooing, and you have the tools to continue advancing your career for years to come.
Students who go through the program will have the skills and knowledge they need to create incredible tattoos and draw in new customers with minimal effort. This means that they can build a business around themselves that allows for financial freedom and a rewarding creative career.
In this all-inclusive coaching, you will:

What's the difference between the Artist Accelerator Program and Private Coaching?
The Artist Accelerator Program has everything you need for a primarily self-guided journey into the tattoo industry. You receive all the information you’d get in a traditional apprenticeship and it’s up to you to work through the course at your own pace. The Facebook group functions as a community that provides support and access to professional tattoo artists when you need assistance. We’ve had thousands of students find success this way.
Private Coaching offers a more personalized experience and additional accountability. Because you will be in closer communication with us and you’ll be following a schedule, our coaching program is considered to be our “mentor-led” path.
In addition to focusing on building your art and tattooing skills, private coaching comes with personalized advice on marketing, building your brand, and acquiring clients as part of a focused, 12-week experience. Instead of being prepared to enter the tattoo industry at the end of the program (like you are with the Artist Accelerator), after private coaching you will already be an active participant in the industry and making money as a professional tattoo artist.
In short, many of our private coaching students are in the process of transitioning to tattooing full-time by the end of their 12 weeks, whereas Artist Accelerator graduates are prepared to take their first steps into the professional sphere.
Ideally, coaching students have already spent time in the Artist Accelerator Program to build a base knowledge and begin developing their skills, and they are 100% certain that they want tattooing to become their fulltime career.
How much time do I need per day to complete the private coaching curriculum?
What if I am unhappy with the course?
Our private coaching program is meant to be intensive so that it gets you to your goals extremely quickly.
That being said, you will have several drawing and tattoo drill assignments, alongside a daily to-do list to build your social media community (your client list). We recommend setting aside three hours a day for the duration of the program.
Can I do private coaching if I have a full-time job?
All Tattooing 101 programs are meant to be flexible to allow students to maintain their income while learning to tattoo, and this includes private coaching.
All the assignments can be done on your own time and coaching calls will be based on your schedule.
Many of our students with full-time responsibilities have found that getting up and tattooing before work, as well as drawing in the evenings for those 12 weeks allows them to get through their assignments without too much change to their normal schedule.
I'm not tech savvy or a "businessperson" - is this for me?
All the software we show you in private coaching to set up bookings, payments, and more is all very simple to use, and you will get step-by-step tutorials showing you how to set it all up.
Our goal is to make sure you stay organized, get paid properly as a tattoo artist, and feel confident in your ability to conduct business – but your primary role is still artist. You do not need extensive business knowledge, and many of the systems we show you – once set up – will run automatically without you having to do anything else.
I've implemented the lessons in the Artist Accelerator Program and I'm already seeing success as a tattoo artist. Is private coaching still going to help me?
Yes! While the Artist Accelerator Program is comprehensive, inside private coaching we’ll push you creatively and help you develop a unique style that you can charge higher prices for and help you tune up your tattooing so your work is as efficient and clean as possible.
Additionally, you’ll be getting the knowledge you need to turn your passion for tattooing into a profitable business by building your brand. This will take most of the admin work off your plate, give you more free time as an artist, and help you stay booked out so you never have to chase clients.
What if it's not the right time - can I get private coaching later?
Life happens, and there are times when students know they have to wait for private coaching (new baby, a cross-country move, etc.), and we want to make sure that you have the time you need available to get a return on your investment into coaching.
However, because we want to make sure our coaching students get the attention they need, there is a limited number of spots, which are expected to fill up quickly (which will lead to a waiting list). This is why we recommend students join private coaching when they know that tattooing is what they want to do for a living so they can get in before those spots fill up.
As a side note: it’s never a “good” time to start a business or build your brand. That’s why so many tattoo artists never reach their full earning potential, start their dream studio, or get booked out months in advance.
Outside of the cost for coaching, how much money do I need to get started?
Many of our students already have art and tattooing supplies, which means they only need the money for a website and landing page. These assets are not expensive (approximately $30/month), and most of our students make that money back 10x over after a few weeks in the program.
That said, you’ll be receiving $1K worth of design work for free when you join private coaching, since all your marketing materials are made for you.
Can you guarantee it works?
At the beginning of your time in private coaching, we will set out goals that we can guarantee you will reach if you do the work.
This is an intensive program, and if you are unable or unwilling to put in the time and effort, then we can’t guarantee results.
However, if you are willing to do the work, then we guarantee you’ll reach the parameters we’ve agreed on. If we do not achieve the goals that we agree upon prior to the coaching starting then we will issue a 150% refund.
